Hill Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea,
Dipterocarpus, Lauraceae, Sapotaceae.
Growing on ridge.
Morphology:
Tree 1|m tall, 30 cm dbh. Outer bark salmon, flaking. Inner
bark peach-orange. Leaves pale green beneath, rough.
Young fruit pale green, maroon at apex.
