dark red-brown, turning gray brown. Halophytic
outer bark. Wood red, hard. Flowers in bud,
buds green, tepals green. Carpels shiny
pinkish-red.

Waro ’airstrip’.
Habitat: Swamp forest dominated by sago palm.
