A large tree, reaching a height of 120 feet, the trunk with large, st^ut, pyramidal or Conical
spines. Common in hill forests, the wood being used for the construction of houses and native
canoes, but is not durable when exposed to the weather. T., Ligâa; P. T., Balacat.
