Tengchong Xian, Wuhe Xiang. Xiaodifang. W side of
Gaoligong Shan in a N-S valley near the top of the
range, N of the new road from Baoshan to Tengchong via
Nankang Yakou.
Elev. 2090 m	24°	50’	55"	N,	98°	45’ 33" E
W facing 30-60° slope.
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by felling.
Well developed forest and disturbed open areas near
stream.
Annual herb, to 1 m tall. Plant supported on stilt like
roots. Flowers pink. Common.
Growing in shade under forest.
In humus on decomposed granite.
