On gentle eastern slope of hilltop, pasture, in foil sun. In well-drained stony soil
of sandstone loam/black turf. Native and occasional. Grassland, with Passerina,
Cliffortia and Rhus erosa.
Perennial dwarf shrubs of 1 m high. Very small, ericoid simple leaves, whorled,
glabrous. Small pinkish flowers, 1-2 mm in diameter, binate.
