office along Pua Loke Street (across from Kukui Grove
shopping center), Lihue.
Tree 8-9 m tall with large dense# spreading crown. Leaves
thick, soft# discolorous. Inflorescence axes & calyx
pale green, corolla & filaments white# stigma greenish,
nectary disc yellow-orange# undulate. Flowers fragrant
with strong, sweet odor of stale beer. Cultivated# one
