Habitat:	Montane	forest;	on	slope.
Annot. Tree; buttresses absent; height
70 feet; d,b.h. 11 inches. Bark grey,
rough, shallowly fissured, lending to be
scaly. Blaze 2-layered, orange (outer)
cream (inner). Wood pinkish straw, with
red flecks. Odour and exudate absent.
Leaves dark green on upper surface; green
on lower surface. Flower buds green.
