thick and £5 feet high stem, in moist fertile soil of forested,
flats at So feet elevation; stem crooked, branched toward the
top only, branches widely sprawling and crookedly rebranched,
grayish white; wood moderately soft, dingy white throughout,
odorless, nearly tasteless; bark saoethish, yellowish gray,
pale yellowish white beneath the epidermis; leaves ascending,
ample at the ends of the subereet branchiate, diverse in size;
leaflets deeoendingly curved, shallowly folded upon the upper
subluoid and darker green surface, ohartaeeous, recurved; young
inflorescence subpendant, green; fruits alee pendulous,
yellowish red or deeper red* 2-oelled, ¿»seeded; the shining
blaok seeds with a light yellowish red hllum at the base,
