smooth light brown, bole straight &
unbuttressed, wd white; lvs thick herbaceous to
subcoriaceous, dull dk gm above, lighter
below; fr 3-angled, glossy gm, immature.
Notes: Each fruit wing contains 1 seed,
apparently arilloid.
Locality: Morobe province; N of the Busu River,
at Kumbok.
Habitat: Mature unlogged forest rich in palms,
aroids and fems; edge situation.
