Tree: multi-stemmed, 4,5 meters tall x 4.5 meter wide; bark light
gray, scaly; leaf with 4 shallow lobes, adaxial glossy, dark green,
coriaceous, abaxial pale green, densely pubescent with appressed
stellate hairs, few yellow gland spots, margins revolute, apex acute;
branches new season growth orange-tan with white lenticels,
second year twig green-brown with tan lenticels; buds globose,
reddish-brown.
Note- Quercus stettata most frequent in vicinity, Q. alba common,
Q. prinoides and Q. bicolor uncommon.
