This particular form, which was collected-above Wainuea, Kauai, at.. pievatioiis. of <3000 to 4000 feet, is a tree fifteen fee't high, with^ienderi'Mjde’Spread- ing branches. „The leaves'are two to four inches long, ellJptL cal-lanceolate, pn short petioles, thin, shining,., and i wi|h;.fiiar - gps somewhat undulate.
