Yunnan Province, YongpingXian; Ca. 19 km SW of Yongping
city and due N of Shanyang-zhen. 25°20'25"N, 99°23'24”E;
1550-1625 m. Heavily disturbed area with trees and oilfflp
vegetation mostly of use to local people remaining, remnant
vegetation restricted to slopes too steep to cultivate and in narrow
strips along streams. On moist, steep banks in stony clay soil.
Colonial; apex of some fronds prolonged, rooting at tip and
generating new plantlets. DNA material available.
