Description
Somewhat like Cordia sebestana, but calyx shining yellow orange, leathery, fleshy, ovate, open by rupture, flowers orange. The Cordia sebestana here usually has scarlet flowers and grows to a tree. Only one plant seen. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

This specimen has 4 leaves detached from twig, one damaged corolla and an immature fruit, Feb 1997.
