Hiep, 13 April 2000 Field Char.: Treelet 4 m tall, stem with many large brown prickles, slash white-green, fruit showy, green-purple, seeds black, plant aromatic. Locality: Vietnam, Ninh Binh Province, Cue Phuong National Park. Habitat: Hill near headquarter, 150 m NE of helipad. Hill of Secondary forest overlapping with primary forest. Site No: CP15 105°42.97N 20°15.03'E Collector: N. M. Cuong 018 22 December 1998 Collected under the sponsorship of: ICBG Project, University of Illinois at Chicago, Field Museum of Natural History, Cue Phuong National Park, and National Center for Science and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam.
