Sagebrush steppe hillsides. Scattered with Artemisia tridentata, Poa secunda, Leymus triticoides, Pseudoroegneria spicata, Koeleria pyrimidata, Purshia tridentata, Gutierrezia, Astralagus, and Balsamorhiza sagittata. Pebbly soil.
