    On northeast-facing slope. With Atriplex, Gutierrezia, Artemisia and Eriogonum. In rocky clay (Mancos Formation).

  • Description

    Ill-scented perennials, woody only at base, to 75 cm tall; herbage sparsely pilose, gray-green; all leaves petiolate, the lower deeply pinnatifid; petals bright yellow, the blades to 2 mm wide, the claws densely villous on inner surfaces; stipes to 19 mm long; mature fruits divergent, arcuate. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
