Habitat
Upper rim of south-facing slopes. Atriplex confertifolia community with scattered Haplopappus nuttallii, Cryptantha caespitosa and Eriogonum brevicaule. White clay with surface of irregular bluish-white slate flakes and whitish sandstone rock.
