"waterfall fork", above old ranch site, about 35km northeast of
Alamos; 27°\9WN 108°44’W, elev. 1100m.
Growing on cliff face in canyon bottom in dense riparian forest at
transition between oak woods and tropical deciduous forest with
Urera caracasana, Clethra lanata, Prunus zingii, Persea
podadenia, Senecio tepopana, Aphananthe monoica, Agave,
Berberis, Eupatorium quadrangulare, Ageratina paupercula,
Iresine, Justicia phlebodes, Stellaria, and Ageratum.
2m tall shrub; uncommon.
