Field Char. Tree 15-20 m tall, dbh 30 cm; bark whitish gray,
smooth; slash blackish brown; fruits green; pubscence
on inflorescences dark brown. Crush leaves aromatic.
Locality: Vietnam, Ninh Bihh Province, Nho Quan District
Habitat: Cue Phuong National Park. Slope northeast of Bong.
Tall primary forest on a slope with thick soil cover and occasional
exposed limestone rock. 400-480 m altitude.
