Description
Tree, 25 m. high; stems 2-3 feet thick; leaves dull green above, paler beneath, conduplicate upon the upper side; infructescence stalks rusty brown; fruits less than 0.5 inch long, smooth except for lenticels, apple red or deep purple, with a single seed in the center of the thick white meat. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
