Muench., Abh. 1:230, 1829-30.
Low herb with short, hairy, runnerlike stems. Leaves alternate, palmately 3-compound,
petioles long, slender, leaflets obcordate, entire excepting for the apical notch. *l0wers
yellow, in umbellate clusters of 2 to 5 or more flowers on erect peduncles. Capsules beaked,
oblong, about 12 mm. long.
Occasional roadside and plantation weed (9925) . English name, sheep
sorrel; native name, kihikihi.
