Bobiri Forest Reserve. 6038’N, 1°17*W. Moist semi-deciduous forest with many lianas. Humus of topsoil up to 20cm deep. Avg.of 1500mm/y rain. Small tree, 10m tall. Bole crooked, irregular. Bark brittle, rough gray; prominent eyemarks. Slash cream-colored to brown, darkens. Leaf simple,narrowly elliptic, acuminate, base acute, margin entire to crenate; simple hairs, some in domatia, mixed with stellate hairs. S.
