Terra firme forest on relatively flat terrain, 5 years after die-back of bamboo forest.

Description
Tree 35 m x 70 cm, plank buttresses thin, branched, and high (to 2 m), outer bark brown, hoop marks, smooth in places shed in small plates, thin, inner bark rose, brittle. Fruits immature, deep red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
