Information given by ole Nduyotoo, Irmishuki-agegroup. (35° 29' E 3° 12' S). Alt. 2000 m. Sep 15, 1993 Tree. Maasai name: orkonyil Decoction of root is sued to mix with meatsoup, and to make a waterextract, which is blue and very bitter, both used during meatcamps. The waterextract change the urines colour to blue. Four to six pieces of root can be added to honeybeer during fermentation to clean the body, particularly for "gonorrhea". It makes the honeybeer a bit bitter and stimulates urination. 04952911
