  • Habitat

    General vegetation: campo cerrado (a type of scrubby woodland originally) on upland, or very rarely forest. Open marsh or dense secondary forest ("mata") along the streams. This habitat: Pasture (originally cerrado). At this season thickly carpeted with a low grass.

    Fls. pale yellow, standard with many vertical purple lines. Plant no. 1 in separate parts. All other pieces each a single separate plant. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
