    General vegetation: campo cerrado (a type of scrubby woodland originally) on upland, or very rarely forest. Open marsh or dense secondary forest ("mata") along the streams. This habitat: roadside where small bridge crosses brook. Sandy soil in half shade of planted eucalyptus tree.
