Mpio. La Huerta: Rancho Cuixmala, along the Rio Cuitzma-
la near the ranch headquarters,, from the road crossing to
Zapata downstream about 1 km. (Near 19°22.8'N, 104°
58.8'W.) Hillsides w/ tropical deciduous forest. Elev.
10 m. An uncommon scandent subshrub in a thicket on a
dry bench above the river; fis. purple-blue with a green
stripe on the back of each corolla lobe. Frt. an almost
sphaencal berry, green tmiBg to orange when ripe.
