Field Char: Tree 20-25 m tall, dbh 30 cm; bark gray,
smooth; slash dull brownish pink; flowers dry,
rusty brown.
Locality: Laos, Prefecture of Vientiane, Sikhot Tabong
District, Ban Ang Nhai, Phu Phanang Range.
Habitat: Remnants of forest with some bamboos, lower
part of south-facing slope.
