Phytogeogr. value : A Middle-Saharo-Sindianspecies.
One of the desert species which is penetrating to a wide extent
into the Mediterranean territories of Palestine. Also in the Saharo-
Sindian territories of Palestine it occurs often as a segetal plant.
The natural associations where it is most common are Suaedetum
asphalticae and Salsòletum villosi.
