Discontinuous canopy ca. 20 m tall, high density of lianas,
low epiphyte load, herb layer of variable density. Sandy
clay soil.

Understory tree. Trail in reserve: PP. Relative light:
Medium. Gradient of slope, degrees: 12. Direction of
crest, degrees: 228.
Use:	Resin used for caulking pirogues (canoes) and for
illumination, also burned in tromba ceremony.
