Primary moist forest on sharply undulating terrain.
Discontinuous canopy ca. 20 m tall, high density of lianas,
low epiphyte load, herb layer of variable density. Sandy
clay soil.
25.15cm diam x 12m tall. Relative tree height: Canopy
tree. Trail in reserve: PP. Relative light: High. Gradient of
slope, degrees: 10. Direction of crest, degrees: 202.
Evidence of Aye-Aye (Daubentonia) seed predation.
Use:	Resin	used for caulking pirogues (canoes) and for
illumination, also burned in tromba ceremony.
