Sublittoral forest on steep, rocky terrain, with dense poles
and lianas, many trees with damaged crowns, emergents to
35+ m tall (the majority of them Canarium). Many rocky
streams.
Young tree 8 m x 10 cm, leaves up to 8-jugate,
pseudostipules orbicular, 5 mm long. On steep forested slope
near top of hill. Inland/from marked coordinates. Several
inaccessible fruiting individuals seen, all in hilly forest.
