Degraded forest on mild slope ca. 100 m behind beach.
Tree 25 m x 75 cm diam, with thick plank buttresses and
broad crown. Outer bark gray, slightly scalloped, thin, with
sparse, small, raised lenticels, shed only on buttresses in
small rectangular plates. Inner bark tan. Fruits oblong-
ovoid, 4.5-5.2 cm long, gray, sparsely white-lenticellate.
Rare.
