: Very common about Honolulu, growing along roadsides, in
fields, and evon on the outskirts of the forest on Tantalus. A
branching, straggling shrub, the young branches herbaceous
^nd tomentose. Pod short, tomentose, almost black when ma-
tures Seeds olive green when ripe. Not previously recorded
from the Hawaiian Islands! It has perhaps been introduced
from Australia, as it occurs there.	.
