Coastal grassland on coastal flats, in full sun, in well-drained soil of recent sand.
Native and abundant. Eragrostis curvula, Panicum, Agyrolobium.
Prostrate herb with stems up to 30cm long, very slender. Leaves palmately
compound with 3-4 leaflets, alternate, margins entire. Stipules present Flowers
yellow, within large hairless bracts, very conspicuous. Pods flat 16-18mm long,
breaking into one-seeded segments.
