  • Description

    Perennial herbs, 1 to 2 m high; stems the thickness of an ordinary lead pencil, strict, several from the same root cluster, green; leaves submembranous, slightly comduplicate on the upper side, canescent on the lower side; inflorescence ascending, greenish except the odorless yellow flowers; pods 3 inches long, less than 1/2 inch wide, the beans obliquely constricted.
