Heavily disturbed cloud forest along Ansermanuevo-San José del Palmar road. Shrub ca. 2 m tall. Leaves dull green, with purplish-green petioles. Calyx & bracts green. Corolla tube green, the limb and lobes dorsally suf- fused with maroon; the lobes yellowish-cream to white within. Fruit maroonish-brown. Common. James L.
