Valle/Chocó border: Alto del Galápago; ca. 2000 m; ca. 4°40?N, 76°25fW. Heavily disturbed cloud forest along Ansermanuevo-San José del Palmar road. Shrub ca. 2m tall. Leaves dull green, with purplish-green petioles. Calyx & bracts green. j Corolla tube green, the limb and lobes dorsally suf- fused with maroon; the lobes yellowish-cream to white within.
