Shennongjia Forest District (31°30T'i; 110°30'E):
vicinity of Qiujiaping in side canyons
on the E side of the Msngjia River.
Elevation 1500-1900 meters. W-facing
slopes. Disturbed valley,with
secondary grcwth. Petals pale
magenta distally, whitish proximally.
