of Acacia, Cordia, Ficus, arborescent
Euphorbia, now mostly of terraced sorghum and
with grazed field edgesp mountainous; elev.
ca. 2000 m.
In wadi, gravelly, only a few clumps seen.
With Tagetes minima, scrub acacia, grazed
grasses, Echinops.
Corolla red-violet; stems red, ascending at
about 80 degrees, up to about 10 per clump.
Species seen here only and about one-half
the way up Jabal Bahdain just E of Ibb, where
again only a few plants were seen.
