Locality "Swordgrass Ridge,” 1-2 km. south of Mt. Tapotchau,.main ridge
running north and south.
Habitat deep clay-like soil, in some places as much as 1 meter, overlying
coral limestone bedrock, dominated by Miscanthus except where
soil is eroded away.
Single shrub in grass near road.
