Qinghai Province. Chindu Xian: Oba village: 32°55’32"N;
97°15’58"E. Elevation 3500 m. Steep slopes, cliffs and
ravines along the Tongtien River. Vegetation mostly scattered
shrubs of Elscholtzia fruticosa, Juniperus {Sabina), Caragana
and Hedysarum multijugum.
Dry slopes and cliffs. Shrubs ca. 2 m tall; corolla light
purplish to purple, deep purple apically.
