Waimanalo. Frankie's Nursery, 41-999 Mahiku Place.
Source: imported ca. 3 yrs ago from research station, Kuching,
Sarawak, where it was used as a ground cover between pepper grown
on poles. Said to be from Central America.
Stems firm-succulent; lvs medium green, underside paler, flws
yellow-orange, borne above foliage; firts form underground (immature
ones only). Takes heavy traffic, high drought tolerance, little
moisture; easily propagated from cuttings, spreads horzontally, forms
thick mat 4-6" tall.
