Solitary, height 2.5m, stem length 3m, leaf 90cm incl.
petiole 20cm, ecirate, concolorous, leaflets regular,
concolorous, 24 per side, rachis of young leaves with
sparse orange hairs, sheaths brown green, covered in
very short, black spicules, inflorescence 1.3m, erect,
branched to 3 orders, 5 primary branches, rachillae
curved, flagellum 2.5m
