Habitat
In dense forest; at base of tree trunks or dead by slowly decaying hard wood. Siderocarpus flexicaulis.

Notes (shown on label)
This species of moss seems to be distributed throughout Cameron Co., but it is scarce everywhere and only a small amount occurs on its preferred host. The host are Prosopis juliflora, Condalia obovata & Siderocarpus flexicaulis
