d’Analamerana, (eastern portion) near summit of
the hill E of the Ampondrakely River.

In red soil with leaf litter over limestone, in low
(c. 6 m), dense, deciduous forest. Altitude 280 m.
A slender shrub to c. 1.5 m tall; leaves deep
green, with very long petioles, deep green above,
pale beneath. Flowers bright yellow in a
terminal, slender raceme; calyx bright green;
standard petal tinged red-brown behind; keel pale
green with a yellow tip. [Also seen without
flowers in the Ampondrakely River valley -
12°41,33"S49°34'03,,E].
