Description
Erect shrub, 3 to 5 feet high, forming dense patches...; stem terete, sparingly branched, ½ inch thick, flexible, tough, covered with brown and lenticelled bark; inflorescence mostly lateral, below the foliage, ascending; calyx dull or dirty yellowish, corolla white; pods 1½ inch long, ¾ inch wide, green, flattened, 1 seeded; leaves coriaceous, descending, similarly green on both sides, slightly conduplicate on the upper side.
