Mahafaly Plateau, c. 53 km SW of Ampanihy, route
to Androka.

Amongst trees in area of occasional inundation
between limestone slopes, on red sandy soil.
Alt. c. 200 m
Small spreading lax shrub to c. 1 m tall; twigs pale
yellow-green. Leaves trifoliolate; leaflets mid-
green with a thin greyish bloom, greyer beneath.
Rowers in leaf-opposed racemes, bright yellow, c.
12 mm tall; standard bright yellow with fine reddish
rays near the centre; wings bright yellow, appressed
along the top of the keel; keel yellow-green with a
yellow beak. Fruit subspherical with a narrow
marginal rim, drying pale silvery brown.
