Habitat
With water-worn horizontally bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand, sedge-marsh, exposed rock and waterfall. Vegetation open scrub to closed low woodland in drier areas.

Herb to 1 m. Leaves grey-green. Bracteoles and sepals pale green. Petals yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
