Habit etc.-^HH^i herb, up to 1o1* , erect, simple stems. In
fir., firs. very, pale pink with darker pink nerves. In green
fr. NOTE nitrogen producing(?) nodules (or nematode nodules)
on roots.
Habitat^ar*ily common on the forest floor in the more open
area of exploited ’’mutemwa”, with grasses 710*708 etc., but
also under partial shade of the usual "mutemwa” spp., ¿albergia
glandulosa, Combretum ce-lastroides» & C. eleagnoides» Pppowia
Canthium_martinii, Haplocoelum foliolosum, Croton scheffleri,
etc. under jjaikiaea, P3?tfefefeopsis anisoptera, Pterocarpus
antunesii, Croton gratissimus. Lonchocarpus taelsii, etc. on
Coll. W. R. Bainbridge,	n0.	712	Kalahari” sand.
